Manchester United strolled to a 3-0 win over Sunderland, which is somehow still managed by Dick Advocaat. An Alexis Sanchez hat-trick helped Arsenal outgun a speedy Leicester City. Chelsea continue to toil in the bottom quartile while City drop to 2nd. Liverpool, as you were.

The British invasion of EPLpod continues! Mike, Louis, and Eric discuss Arsenal’s poor run of forum, Manchester’s magnificent Martial, and the lack of English players in the top flight. Paul gets arrested for lewd behaviour.

Has Diego Costa cemented his title as the most hated player in the EPL? Was Anthony Martial really a bargain buy? Mike and Louis discuss both of these topics as well as Manchester City’s fall from grace while Paul deals with a hybrid gonorrhea-chlamydia mega virus.

Will Chelsea’s bad run of luck continue when they face Arsenal? Can the two Manchester teams rebound after facing mid-week humiliation in the Champions League? Mike & Eric discuss, while Paul tends to a nasty little STD he recently picked up.

Manchester United return to their winnings ways by downing an abject Liverpool side. City remain perfect. And Chelsea lose again. No shin guard for Hoolahan? No problem.
What’s more? Well, Mike & Paul weigh in on which referee for whom they’d like to cook a hearty Italian meal. All of this and more, only on EPLpod.

Rejoice! The international break has come and gone. It’s time to get back to the English Premier League. Back to Manchester United hosting Liverpool at Old Trafford (Will Anthony Martial start? Will David de Gea sign a new contact?). Back to the Chelsea’s tales of woe. And most importantly, back to sanity (sort of)!

It’s the international break! With there being no new games to talk about, Mike & Paul discuss why David DeGea didn’t make the move from Manchester United to Real Madrid on deadline line. Other topics include: indoor football pitches, doping in the English Premier League , and soft open-mouth kisses. All of this and more on EPLpod.
Transfer deadline day has caused a bigger stir by virtue of who didn’t move, rather than who did (we’re looking at you David de Gea and Saido Berahino). Were Manchester United fleeced by Monaco in acquiring 19-year-old Anthony Martial for £36 million? What happened to Paul’s face? The guys discuss.
Part two let’s you know about the deals that actually got done along with, you guessed it, our patented football rating system. Our longest pod yet, for better or worse!

Mike & Paul do a post-mortem of a trio of top four aspiring teams’ losses, United succumbing 2-1 to a late Ayew/Gomis-led Swansea comeback, Chelsea incurring a rare home defeat courtesy of Crystal Palace, and Liverpool falling at home 3 nil to West Ham, losing both the game and Coutinho, who picked up a 2nd yellow (thus causing him to miss the match against United on Sept. 12th).
The champions league draw is in. Can English teams represent? Will Manchester City survive another group of death? Will Memphis celebrate against his old club, PSV Eindhoven? The guys pontificate.

Liverpool were denied by Arsenal’s villain-turned-saint Petr Cech on Monday. Paul enthusiastically recaps the game while Mike pretends to listen. We preview the second leg of the Uefa Champions League qualifier wherein Manchester United bring a 3-1 1st leg lead to Club Brugge KV. Finally, we preview all of the weekend’s action in the EPL and talk about Mike’s favourite subject in the whole wide world, gambling.
